Stillness I Feel

There's a sudden still in the air
Chills in between the pair
Coldness embrace the atmosphere
As the wind rustle echoes in my ears

There's a sudden still in the clouds
And the faint mist that shrouds
As thunder rumbles from a distance
Muffled in between existence

There's a sudden still in the rain
That falls gently on my window pane
Yet abrupt it was when my dream ends
Wailing into a nightmare as it bends

There's a sudden still in my heart
A moment when everything depart
You had left me during the night
Into the darkness, out of sight
