Sonnet of The Moon
The new moon shone through the sea of grey clouds
Beaming its gentle light through the dark night
Its glimmering light shines onto the crowds
Whom waited on the dark land in full fright
The moonlight illuminates the vast land
Though the light was weak, in slow gleam it glows
After twenty three days the cycle ends
To start a new, thus this cycle it closes
But the moon was gone forever this time
The cycle has stopped, the warm glow was gone
Although the stars tried to replace the prime
Their lights are not as bright as he'd drawn
So the people asked while they cry in pain
O Muhammad, will we ever see you again?
